Taylor Sharkey brings a compassionate, focused approach to legal representation. She works alongside Michael to support clients in a range of practice areas including family law, criminal defense, and juvenile matters. Taylor’s calm presence and clear guidance make her a trusted ally during some of life’s most challenging moments.

Michael J. Lerner graduated Cum Laude from Ohio University in 2000 with a degree in Political Science. He earned his Juris Doctor from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law in 2003. Since then, he has represented over 7,000 clients in Ohio and is recognized for his clear communication, strategic legal thinking, and courtroom confidence.

Michael is deeply committed to helping clients resolve matters efficiently and affordably. Recognizing that many divorces involve home sales, he founded Advocate Real Estate, LLC — a licensed brokerage designed to offer a streamlined, cost-saving solution for clients navigating divorce and property division.

He is licensed to practice in all Ohio state courts (Municipal, County, and Common Pleas), as well as the Federal Court for the Southern District of Ohio.
